We're back on!

It has been a long time, but we are back!!

Our family is happy, healthy, and terrific! Praise the Lord!

Emma is in kindergarten now and is doing great! She has a wonderful teacher and will be awarded the "Go Getter!" for her class tomorrow. We are so happy for her! She is loving gymnastics and cartwheels everywhere! I mean everywhere. She doesn't walk anymore she just cartwheels. She loves to dance and sing! Her favorite movie right now is High School Musical. She also just got glasses. She will wear them for about 6 months to a year to correct her right eye turning in since her surgery in June.

Laney started school last week and loves it. She has her buddy Keller in her class and some familiar faces from last year. She also loves her teachers. Her favorite movie is Annie! She wants to watch it all the time. The whole family walks around singing Annie songs. It's really funny to watch J sing "The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow". We also experience stitches for the first time since being parents. Laney fell and hit her head on the coffee table. She walked away with a smile (surprisingly) and 5 stitches right in the middle of her forehead. Yikes!

Jimmie is loving his job and doing very well. He still has a passion for golf and is looking forward to some golf outings coming up and is very excited about golfing in St. Thomas! He didn't get to golf much this summer, so he is due! He is loves playing soccer and just started another season! He was also re-elected as the President of our HOA for his second term. He really enjoys it! Well, most of the time! He stays busy, but balances everything well. The girls adore him and love going on daddy daughter dates as much as possible. He stays busy, but does a good job balancing everything. :)

I am doing great! I love being home again taking care of my family. I stay very busy everyday! I have been volunteering at E's school and spending much needed mommy time with Laney. I am loving working out and Emma always reminds me how important it is that I go to the gym. She is my mini-me! And, ohhhh yes, J has one two! Laney definitely is her daddy's girl! Anyway, I am training for my first triathlon in October. I am so excited! It will be 5 days after we return from our trip to St. Thomas. We'll see how it goes. :) We also started attending a new church and joined a new Life Group. We love it!
